The Adaptive Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that empowers the lives of children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities through adaptive sports was awarded a grant to purchase bibs for the ASF race team.

Appalachian Ski Education Foundation

Appalachian Ski Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization working for the support and development of the ski team and skiing was awarded a grant for App Ski Snow Sports: Play and Work. Working in collaboration with Mountain Alliance they will engage youth in skiing and snowboarding who would not readily have the opportunity.

Dublin School, a 9-12 college preparatory school has combined rigorous academics with competitive sports and spending time outdoors. Skiing has been a defining activity throughout the School’s history and today. Nordic skiing is at the heart of their successful endurance sports program. The Dublin School was awarded a grant to fund adding lights to the Nordic facility.

The Ford K. Sayre Memorial Ski Council serves skiers and children of the Upper Connecticut River Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont was awarded a grant funding to pay for 1/2 of a winch cat.

The Kelly Brush Foundation whose mission is to prevent ski racing injuries through a shared commitment to best safety practices and to inspire and empower people with spinal cord injuries to live active and engaged lives was awarded a grant for funding an Alpine Competition & Safety Consultant position. The Alpine Competition & Safety Consultant will provide a reliable national resource for venue excellence, on-hill safety, and training to further our commitment to alpine safety education.

The Killington Ski Club, a 5013c was awarded a grant for construction of athlete warming hut and timing center on Swirl.

New England Disabled Sports (Copy)

New England Disabled Sports

New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) is a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization that is nationally recognized for providing year-round adaptive sports instruction to over 700 children, adolescents and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities in collaboration with YES was awarded a grant for The Adaptive YETTI (Youth Excel Through Tailored Instruction) program to provide 35 youth with physical, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with three sessions of downhill skiing and snowboarding through a proven repeat engagement mode.

MST, who’s mission is to provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to reach their potential in ski racing and alpine skiing on both a competitive and recreational level. To support the empowerment of children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. To create opportunities for all youth, even those who would not readily have the opportunity, to experience alpine ski racing was awarded a grant to fund a finish timing building

STRIDE, a 501(3)c organization educates and empowers individuals with special needs in life-changing sport and recreation programs to sustain healthy, active and fun lifestyles. Stride was awarded a grant to grow their ski and snowboard team.

Woodstock Ski Runners (Copy)

Woodstock Ski Runners

Woodstock Ski Runners, who believe that it is important for the children of our communities to grow up with skiing and snowboarding as part of their lives was awarded a grant to to keep the cost of our Fridays Program at $85 for the next five years as well as providing a new scholarship program where one participant from our Fridays Program will be selected each year for the next five seasons and provided with a full scholarship to enter one of our racing programs. The Friday program is part of a system to teach children how to ski and to progress those children who showed talent to the world of competitive skiing.

YES in collaboration with NEDS was awarded a grant for The Adaptive YETTI (Youth Excel Through Tailored Instruction) program to provide 35 youth with physical, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with three sessions of downhill skiing and snowboarding through a proven repeat engagement mode. The Adaptive YETTI program will build upon YES's one-time programming for youth with disabilities and provide them with multiple days on the slopes designed to deepen skills, build confidence, and connect with positive role models.
